Francis joined the Gibraltar Police Force as a Police Cadet at the young age of 16 years and in 1979 became a Police Constable. He left the Police Force in 1991 and opened his own business which became a very successful dog grooming parlour. This career change enabled him to have the free time to commence studying in order to achieve his long time ambition in becoming a lawyer.
Francis achieved his objective and read law at Southampton Institute and subsequently undertook the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, Guilford. After the completion of the LPC, Francis remained in the United Kingdom and did his two-year Solicitor's Training Contract in Southampton and undertook the following seats:
- Family Law
- Personal Injury
- Employment
- Conveyancing
- Wills and Probate
Francis returned to Gibraltar and after working as an associate for three years within two local law firms he decided to set up his own law firm.
In 2020 Francis joined Kenneth Navas Solicitors and Barristers as a consultant.
In 2022 Verralls Legal Limited engaged Francis as an associate and mainly deals with Criminal Family and immigration matters.
Francis is renowned for his approachable and yet very professional attitude and his interpersonal skills achieved through his diverse career experiences.
