Chris is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in June 2004. Shortly afterwards he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Gibraltar as a barrister. He joined Verralls in September 2004 and became a partner of the firm on 1st July 2009. He is currently head of litigation at the firm.
The main areas Chris specialises in are private client and criminal litigation. Most notably, Chris has experience of conducting appeals before the Court of Appeal for Gibraltar, Privy Council and has over 50 full Supreme Court jury trials under his belt.
In commercial matters, Chris advises on private client and commercial law, financial services advice, the restoration of companies and applications in the Supreme Court for relief under the Companies Act of Gibraltar.
The firm ceased operating as a partnership on 30 June 2017 and commenced operating as Verralls Legal Limited, trading as Verralls Barristers & Solicitors on 1 July 2017.
