Leigh read Accounting & Law at Kingston University, London and then returned to Gibraltar to undertake his training contract at Hassans International Law Firm. He was subsequently admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of England & Wales and called to the Gibraltar Bar in July of 2007.
Leigh is a very keen entrepreneur at heart and after completing his training at Hassans, he suspended his practice and satiated his curiosity towards the Gibraltar property market. Leigh was eventually able to establish his own successful real estate concern and several other smaller profitable businesses, but he became drawn to the law once again once these were running well, properly managed and no longer required the ensemble of his energies and attention.
Leigh has always been passionate about criminal litigation and this is the discipline that he delved back into. With time, Leigh has evolved into the ‘high street lawyer’ that he describes himself as and loves to be. He now specialises exclusively in local conveyancing work, local commercial transactional work, but above all, again, litigation in the Criminal jurisdiction of the Gibraltar Law Courts.
